One type of 7 mm closer shims is now offered that works with all 7 mm valve bikes, which includes the 1098 and 848. The old 7 mm closer design will not work with the 1098 and 848. 2V (8 mm dia) shims are now available in half sizes (.05 mm increments). Go to products page to see the sizes available.
